Welcome to Big Apple Ride. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and our chauffeured transportation services. By booking with us, browsing our website, or using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to Big Apple Ride.

  • “Client”, “you”, “your” refers to the person booking or using our services.

  • “Service” refers to any transportation, booking, or communication provided by Big Apple Ride.

  • “Vehicle” refers to any car or fleet vehicle provided by us or through our partners.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made via our website, phone, or approved partners.

  • Your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation (email/SMS).

  • Advance reservations are recommended to ensure availability and avoid last-minute surcharges.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are provided upfront and may include base fare, tolls, taxes, and gratuities, unless stated otherwise.

  • Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking depending on the service.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit Card, Debit Card, and select digital wallets.

Note: We reserve the right to adjust prices due to fuel surcharges, route changes, extended wait times, or peak hour demand.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Standard Rides: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.

  • Premium/Special Events (weddings, hourly rides): 50% cancellation fee if canceled within 24 hours; no refund if canceled within 6 hours.

  • No-Show Policy: Full fare is charged if the client fails to appear without notice.

Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 7–10 business days.

5. Waiting Time & Delays

  • Grace period: 15 minutes for standard pickups, 60 minutes for airport pickups.

  • Additional waiting time is charged per 15-minute block after the grace period.

  • We are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, road closures, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Conduct & Safety

  • Smoking, alcohol consumption, or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

  • Any damage caused by the client or their guests will result in a cleaning or repair fee.

  • Seat belts must be worn at all times in accordance with New York law.

The driver reserves the right to refuse service if passenger behavior is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

7. Luggage & Personal Belongings

  • Clients are responsible for their own luggage and personal items.

  • Big Apple Ride is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items left in vehicles.

  • Please inform us in advance if you require special luggage accommodations.

8. Airport Transfers

  • It is the client’s responsibility to provide correct flight details and notify us of any delays.

  • Drivers track flight numbers for real-time updates, but we recommend direct communication for last-minute changes.

9. Service Limitations

We reserve the right to:

  • Substitute vehicles of equal or greater value in the event of mechanical failure or unavailability.

  • Cancel any service due to driver unavailability, weather, or safety concerns, with full refund.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Big Apple Ride website — including text, images, branding, and layout — is the property of Big Apple Ride and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reuse, copy, or distribute any part of the website without prior written permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Big Apple Ride shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of personal items

  • Missed flights, appointments, or events due to uncontrollable delays

In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid for the specific ride or service in question.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of New York County.
